It is not easy to see the landscape around you on a foggy summer morning in the Adirondacks. The fog restricts your line of sight to a few hundred feet. It is only when you gain certain elevation, the true majesty of a summer morning in the Adirondacks can be justly appreciated. This picture was taken with an aerial camera above the Bloomingdale bog. As the fog catches the first light of the rising sun, it shines like gold, creating this magical landscape.
